Alright, lets begin!
I'd like to start my first blog off by following directions, and answering some questions about my previous experiences in English.
Think about the English classes I've had in the past.
-Grade 9 with Mr. Cameron. Probably my favourite and most successful English class so far.
-Grade 10 with Mr. Biagioni (spelling?). Interesting...He was a very new teacher. So new in fact I grew up with him and his sister on Pender Island!
-Grade 11/12...Well, I did this course in grade 12. What a mess. GISPA English. This course and I had some disagreements. Enough disagreements that I chose to drop it in grade 11 so that I could take a more "conventional" course first semester of Grade 12, and then take my actual Grade 12 English second semester. Turns out GISPA English became mandatory in my Grade 12 year, so I had to take GISPA English 11 for the full year, as well as a Grade 12 course second semester. This did not work out however... hence the decision to come back and redeem my final English grade was born, and here we are!
An interesting path, for sure! And still a love of books and words. Away we go! j
